After almost 17 years as Unity on the Bay’s Senior Minister, Rev. Chris Jackson delivered his final Sunday Talk in front of nearly 300 guests on Sunday, September 25, 2022. His talk focused on five of the spiritual lessons he has found to be the most powerful during his time in ministry. Rev. Chris had announced his plan to retirement in February 2022.
During this emotional Sunday Celebration, many people including staff and board gave heart-felt testimony to how Rev. Chris has impacted them and the spiritual community during his years as senior minister. There was also a presentation of a Miami-Dade County Proclamation - making Sept. 23, 2022 “Rev. Christopher Jackson Day” in Miami.
Rev. Juan Del Hierro, now Co-Senior Minister, will be installed as Senior Minister at a special Sunday Celebration on Oct. 23.
