It’s been anything but a lazy summer at Unity on the Bay. In June, we shared the news that Unity on the Bay contracted a consultant to work on the development of a new strategic plan. Over the past few months, she has started the planning process conducting one-on-ones and focus groups with our community as well as reviewing previous work, research and surveys. We are now familiar with Lisa on a one name basis as she has met many of our team leaders and dedicated Sacred Servers. They have had the pleasure of participating and sharing their thoughts with her. Lisa is now in the process of editing drafts of the plan and working with small groups to refine it. That means we are getting closer to meeting with our community and sharing the work that has been completed hopefully by summer’s end. We know that the future of our community is in your thoughts and prayers. For those of you that would like to learn more and participate in the upcoming group discussion, look out for the announcement of a general meeting date in the coming weeks.
